Dedra, Creative CEO and Spokesperson for Celebrations from the Soul is a wife, mother, entrepreneur, teacher and author. She has been an event planner for over twenty years and runs the Creative Division of ERP Resources, Inc. Also, known as the event and civility professor, she teaches event management and civility courses at George Washington University and George Mason University.

Dedra received a Masters of Tourism Administration with a concentration in Event Management from George Washington University and a Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Marymount University. She has produced numerous events over the years from corporate galas, foundation fundraisers, weddings, community outreach and the list goes on. Her true passion has been entertaining in her home, event design and teaching, which inspired her first book, Celebrations from the Soul, An Inspirational Sourcebook for Personal Entertaining.
She just released her new book A Break of Grace, Embracing the Spiritual Gift of Hospitality.

Giving back to her community has been the most positive aspect of her life. She is the cofounder of W+winGS Foundation a 501(c)3 non-profit organization where she leads efforts to serve her community. In addition, she is a cohost on Favored Living a Virginia Living Television show.

Dedra resides in Northern Virginia with her husband Roger, their two children Govan and Lauren, Dedra's mother Mary, and the family dog Bo. Dedra spends as much time as she can with her family, and enjoys taking rides in the country side of Virginia looking for hosting treasures.
