A little bit about November's Guest Speaker

Some words from guest speaker, Lois Hughes

His Hidden Treasures is a 501(c)3 non-profit marketplace ministry "Restoring & Transforming Lives" through the resale and donations of furniture and household goods. We believe that LOVE is an action word!! We turn empty houses into homes! We minister to the physical and spiritual needs of those transitioning from homeless shelters back into their communities with donations and new purchases in order to completely and totally furnish their new homes! We service Veterans, abused women and their children, and men and women leaving shelters. We meet people where they are and offer them a helping hand! There is SOMETHING that EVERYONE in our community can do to help!

Volunteering

If you have able hands, whether it's cleaning, decorating, or moving furniture, we need your help! Sometimes "the best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." Help a family to begin again!
